Octagonal Roundhouse

An Octagonal roundhouse, mostly made from the ‘Thinnings’ from the woodlands, Posts and beams of oak, Upright central column of Ash and Rafters of Sitka Spruce. Constructed using traditional methods for splitting and hoisting, no mechanical means other than a couple of small pulleys and ropes from time to time.
A ‘Plan B’ for wet weather and useful as an activity centre. An original design but similar to Bronze age and in particular the Barn-a-bars found throughout the African continent.
